- Azusa's name (used for the area as early as 1769, per Spanish padres) led to its iconic promotional slogan from the 1920s. City boosters claimed that the suburb offered “Everything from A to Z in the U.S.A.!”
- The Azusa Civic Center, built in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, features stucco walls, red tile roofs, and graceful arches that reflect the city’s rich heritage.
- Known as “The Canyon City,” Azusa sits right where the San Gabriel Mountains meet the San Gabriel Valley. Home to San Gabriel Canyon
